The year 2009 has already begun, yet it is important that I write to make you understand some of the things God has prophetically programmed into it; this will encourage you to stand firm and position yourself strategically in other to benefit from them.

Nine is the number of finality; conclusion, or end of a matter.It was at the age 99 that God changed Abram's name to Abraham meaning the father of many nations Gen17:5. God spoke to him with an air of assurance and finality about the imminent birth of his only covenant son and heir Isaac bringing to an end the embarrassment, torment and frustrations of a deferred hope in his life. We know this because Isaac was born a year later when he was 100 years old. Friend, this is your year of great and historic visitation from God. He will change your name from few to many, lack to prosperity, barrenness to fruitfulness, mediocrity to excellence, victim to victor, failure to success, rejection to acceptance, frustration to fulfillment, darkness to light, confusion to clarity, war to peace etc. God will bring the old order of events in your life to an end this year and begin a new order that will bring His promise to performance in your life.

Again, it was at the Ninth hour that Jesus cried finally on the cross of Calvary and gave up the ghost so that you and I would cry no more.This year God will wipe away all your tears and turn your mourning into dancing. And watch what happened in Matthew 27:5-19 "And behold the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; that veil was a hindrance to direct access into the Presence of God. This year, whatever has been standing between you and your destiny in Christ, whatever is a hindrance on your way to the top, whatever is an obstruction against your dreams and visions, any barrier against your spiritual fellowship with the LORD must be shattered in Jesus name!

It was at the ninth hour being the hour of prayer that Peter and John according to Acts 3, encountered that man who was lame from his mother's womb, who sat begging alms at the beautiful gate. They fastened their eyes on this man and said Ą°Look on usĄ± He looked expecting to receive the usual thing when the unusual happened; he received instant miracle of healing and deliverance. This is the year of Prayer! It is a year of your divine encounter; whatever has crippled you from birth, any perennial problem that has subjected you to a sad spectacle, ridicule and humiliation must vanish in Jesus' name! If you will fasten your eyes on Jesus and look unto him with expectations, like that crippled man, He will do exceeding abundantly more that you can ask or imagine.

Interestingly also, Nine is the number of delivery; if a woman is pregnant, under normal circumstance, she does not bring forth until the ninth month. But when the ninth month finally arrives, she gives birth to her long awaited child. When that happens, there is joy, happiness and fulfillment. This year any womb that is pregnant with your dream child will deliver in JesusĄŻ name! Any womb that is pregnant with your success, healing, promotion and prosperity will deliver in Jesus' mighty name Amen!

The LORD has made us to understand that 2009 is a year of abundance of fresh harvests. While global economy experiences unprecedented down turn in recent times; the news of loss of jobs, corporate losses and closures, economy stimulus plans and bail out packages on the air almost every day, we the children of God's Kingdom should not be afraid because God had already bailed us out even before the trouble started. Hear what He says

1." They shall not be ashamed in the evil time; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied " Ps 37:19 (KJV)

2."Behold the eyes of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in His mercy; to deliver their soul from death and to Keep them ALIVE in famine. Ps 33:19 (KJV)

3." In famine He shall redeem thee from death; and in war from the power of the sword" Job 5:20(KJV)

4."At destruction and famine thou shall laugh; neither shall thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. Job 5:22(KJV)

5."And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philp 4:19

Finally, from the book of Lev.25:19-22, The Lord gave the children of Israel three years harvest in one year being the sixth year, and commanded them to eat of the stock, the sixth year, the seventh year and the eighth year. He then commanded them to plant in the eighth year but to continue to eat of the old stock until the fresh harvest in the ninth year starts coming in, and then they should have a change of taste. You might have been eating of the old stock but this year God will change your taste and diet because fresh harvests must come in, in Jesus' name Amen!

However, brethren let us remember that the greatest harvest is the harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God, for the LORD is coming soon. Think more about this.
