INTRODUCTION:
One of the most outstanding characteristics of Jesus as He walked this earth was the submission and obedience in which He walked with God, His Father. The Spirit of God is speaking expressly to members of the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days to return and be the mirror that reflects the true image of the life and character of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST who learned obedience through the things He suffered.( Heb.5:8) If we are to manifest Him here on earth, we, too, must learn submission and obedience.
Study:
- 1.Where does all authority come from? (Rom 13:1)
- 2. To whom above all else is a Christian to submit? (Matt 4:19; Jam 4:7)
- 3. If submission to the Lord involves submission to His Word, what should be our attitude toward the Word of God? (James 1:22)
