Memory Verse:
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
INTRODUCTION
The true church of Jesus Christ has a glorious, victorious future in the word,
in the air, in the kingdom, and in eternity; it cannot fail.
¡°The gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.¡± (Matt.16: 18)
STUDY:
- THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH IN THE AIR. (1)
We shall be caught up (verse 17). Caught up;
- In our incorruptible bodies (1Cor.15: 42-44)
- To meet the Lord in the heaven and for the great majority of the church we will see Him in His resurrected body for the first time (1John 3:2).
- In our next study, THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH IN THE AIR PART (2) we are going to see other events that will mark the marriage supper of the Lamb when Christ the bridegroom will wed His bride the Church on the rapture such as; (1.) The Judgment of the believers¡¯ Works at the Judgment seat of Christ (The bema judgment) 1Cor.5: 10 (2) The Reward of the believers¡¯ works, 1Cor.3: 11-15
