    Topic:     THE THREE FOLD PROOF OF THE NEW BIRTH

    TEXTS: TEXTS: Matthew 7:16-20

    Memory Verse:"Who ever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 1 John 5:1 (NKJV)"

    Study:
    Every "Born again" child of God has the threefold proof of the new birth - proof that he is a child of God. This threefold proof is first, inward proof; second, outgoing proof; and third, outward proof.
  • "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God". My faith in Christ- that He is God- is personal evidence that I am a child of God. This is inward proof of the new birth.
  • "Everyone who loves is born of God" (1 John 4:7-11). We are to love our fellow man with the love of God. This we are not capable of doing in the flesh; we must let God love man through us. (Rom.5:5). This is outgoing proof of the new birth.
  • "Everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him (1 John 2:29). If you are born of God, you will make a practice of doing right at all times and at all cost (2Cor.5:17). This is outward proof of the new birth.

    CONCLUSION
    If you do not have the threefold proof of the new birth, now is the time to get on your knees and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior-by faith in His vicarious death, burial, and resurrection. Let us pray.

    May the Lord help us in the name of Jesus Amen!
