Theme: STEWARDSHIP IN CHRIST
__________________________________________
Topic:
GOD'S KINGDOM BUSINESS MAN
AIM:
TO MAKE US UNDERSTAND HOW WE CAN PROFITABLY USE OUR GIFTS & TALENTS TO SERVE GOD
TEXTS: Matt25:14-15, 1Cor4:2, Eph6:7, 1Pet4:10, Lk12:48, Lk19:12-15
Memory Verse: "So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them
ten minas and said to them, "Do business till I come."Lk19:13
INTRODUCTION:
A steward is a servant not a master. He is a manager of his master's
business employed to serve with a high sense of commitment and dedication
to duty. His master provides him with the resources and tools which
he is not expected to go and hide, or burry in the ground but to carry
out his duties with and make profit. He is rewarded by his master
according to his output. Therefore he is expected to maximize profit
which requires maximum use of his resources within the available time,
bearing in mind that the master could call for accounts any day: that
is why Jesus said in Jn9:4. "I must work the works of him that sent me,
while it is day: the night is coming, when no man can work."A steward
of Christ there fore, is a God's kingdom businessman who uses
everything God has invested in him to advance God's kingdom purposes
for his life now, knowing that Jesus is coming soon with his rewards.
Rev22:12, 3:11

CONCLUSION:
Faithful stewardship leads to promotion and prosperity both in this
world and in heaven. The bible warns in that if we are not faithful
with earthly riches no body would commit eternal riches into our hands
and that if we are not faithful in another man's business no body will
commit our own businesses to us. Lk19:17, Lk16:10-13
Remember we shall all appear before the judgment seat of Christ to
receive rewards after the works we have done in this body have been
tested. Rom14:10, 1Cor3:13-15
May God help us in Jesus name Amen!
